I’m not a Noah Lenux deciple but I’ve followed Animal Collective since Sung Tongs and for the most part, I’ve enjoyed everything they’ve released. One track in particular off the new record, “Last Night at the Jetty” has grabbed my attention. It’s got a vibe as cool as it’s track name and incorporates some of Lenux’ best bizzaro beach boy chords. I’ll let the rest of the album sink in soon but Jetty is just one of those singles that keeps you from listening to the rest of the album because you can’t stop hitting repeat.

Tomboy is currently streaming at NPR and will be available through Paw Tracks April 12.
