Gigamesh‘s latest house party starter comes in the form of a Grouplove remix. You’ll probably recognize the “take me to your best friends house” hook from this recent apple ad.
The remix is the feeling of just getting off work on a Friday evening bottled up into four and a half minute long mp3.
Some fun new synth chords are added to the mix as well as plenty of Jackson 5 inspired Gigamesh signature instrumentation.

Azari & III – Reckless With Your Love (Aston Shuffle Remix) 02.02.12
I got nothin but respect for the Aston Shuffle for keeping the spirit of Aussie dance music burning bright with this new remix of “Reckless With Your Love.”
They could’ve slipped into a trendy nine minute spacey disco voyage (so hot right now) but instead they’re keeping things fun, simple and elegantly clubby.
Many thanks to the fine folks at Modular Recs for releasing this one as a free download.

Foward thinking dance duo Dolby Anol just launched their own label, Morter and Pestal with the intention of spreading fun, innovative club music to the masses.
The label’s 4 EPs deep into 2012 and you can stream their entire catalog here.
So far the brightest shining single on their roster is one of their own titled “Hold Up;” a bollywood injected vocal disco jam.
Stream it bellow and pick it up at Beatport or Juno.
Nero – Must Be the Feeling (Delta Heavy Remix) 24.01.12
It’s been a bit since foreigners were borrowing styles from American producers but this is becoming something of a trend with Knife Party‘s emulation of Skrillex‘ basslines and the newer Dillon Francis inspired Delta Heavy rework on Nero‘s upcoming “Must Be the Feeling” EP.
These counterparts aren’t clones though, given their hard hitting Drum & Bass backgrounds an adoption of new and gritty American production styles seems more like a natural reaction.
Delta Heavy’s (pictured above) massive remix of “Must Be the Feeling” was premiered on Skream‘s sit in for Annie Mac‘s Radio 1 Show. Listen bellow and check the duo’s soundcloud for more previews and downloads.
[update] Delta Heavy just released their “Must Be the Feeling” remix as a free download through their soundcloud! Listen and download bellow:
It’s My Part (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix) 23.01.12
Oh hey! Another introspective dance classic from UK talent T.E.E.D! This time he’s paired up with fellow UK artists Jonquil who operate under the wings of a music label called Blessing Force.
The mix sounds like the soundtrack to a dream where you get lost in a forrest and find your way to lake; and when you reach the lake you fall in, but for some reason you can breath underwater. And then maybe you fall in love with a mermaid (I dunno it’s a work in progress).
It’s My Part will be released on limited edition 10″ yellow vinyl by Blessing Force on Feb 27th.
Listen bellow and pick up a free download of the mix courtesy of the band and label.
Nick Douwma aka Sub Focus‘ productions are the filet mignon of bass music. His Drum & Bass background shines through his aggressive yet gorgeous dubstep singles and remixes like the recent “Falling Down” featuring vocals by Kenzie May.

Major Lazer – Original Don (Flosstradamus Remix) 20.01.12
The reactions for Major Lazer‘s recent single, “Original Don” have ranged from “This song is way hype, I love it,” to “This is complete shit, turn it off please.”
Regardless of what you thought of the original, there’s no way can’t love this new Flosstradomas remix.
It’s an instant party. It gets you drunk just by listening to it. When the drop hits, hot girls run into your room and start dancing, it’s awesome.
Stream the mix bellow and head over to Floss’s FB page for a free download.
Wax Motif arrives fashionably late to the remix party with his excellent ravey disco funk rendition of Oliver‘s 2012 breakout single, “Dirty Talk.” If you haven’t heard the original yet, you’re failing a bit but it’s ok you can check it here.
Similar to what Armand Van Helden did with Uffie‘s ADD SUV, Motif compliments the sexy vocals in “Dirty Talk” with string and brass-heavy retro dance floor bliss.
